Four-eyes
Petra’s glasses arrived yesterday, and I managed to get a couple of pictures of her this morning at breakfast. She looks grumpy because she really hates the camera flash, but she’s not grumpy about the glasses. Honest.
She’s been wearing them about half the time, which I think is pretty good given that it’s quite an adjustment. Between the new eyewear and the new readling lamp Olof installed by her bed yesterday, I’m hoping those headaches are soon a distant memory.

Those are great glasses…I wish I could find a pair as flattering! And…she’s looking quite the grown-up girl these days, and her hair is so pretty, too! I can understand her mood if this is the first day back to school after the holiday break!

How nice! Not a bit like the glasses I had to wear as a child! (Mind you, my daughter would no doubt have said the same thing – she still thinks her first glasses were horrible even though they were the nicest you could get in those days!)
