We’ve got a busy day lined up tomorrow, which means I won’t be able to go back to bed after the kids go to school, which then means that I should have been in bed an hour ago, yet here I sit, waiting for Olof to finish working and Brynja to wind down enough that she might actually go to sleep.
I’ll barely have time after the kids leave in the morning to drink my coffee and flat-iron my hair before I’ve got to meet the other first-grade class parents at the grocery store to buy the supplies for the Christmas party. Then it’s directly from the store to pick Petra up from pre-school, then to Tage’s school for the aforementioned party, then home for a half-hour before we head back to Petra’s school for their Lucia program.
After all that, it’s phone calls and dinner and getting Lydia to town to spend the night at her friend’s house, not to mention that Olof needs to squeeze at least eight hours of work in there somewhere. But what I really want to know is, when will I get my nap?
What would have to go if you had to choose? Flatironing or the coffee? 😉
Oh, coffee, no doubt about it! In fact, I ended up skipping the flat-ironing this morning, and I don’t regret it for a minute! 😀
Yeah, no coffee is never an option. And I was thinking you could rock the Northern backwoods look by skipping your hair entirely…surely you have a pair of sweatpants, and a tin of snus is only a petrol station away…
