Nine years ago today, Lydia and I and most of our worldly possessions arrived in Sweden, yet to return whence we came. It’s crazy how time flies; it doesn’t feel at all as though so many years have passed. I can’t believe how tiny Lydia was then, littler even than Petra is now. Sitting in the airport in Manchester, England on that January morning, we had no idea what adventures were in store for us.

Jubileum
January 18, 2010
That was the last time I hugged my best friend 🙁
You can’t begin to know (ok, maybe a little) how grateful I am that you two found your soft place to land. 🙂 I thought you brave and daring and so romantic for running off to another country to live with a man you met on the internet. 😛
It’s all very romantic and courageous!
But you have to go back and see your friends and family! Does Lydia beg to go to the US on holiday?!
You are a courageous person!
I admire you
Aw, thanks for the kind words, ladies. 🙂
Anna, Lydia hates flying, so she doesn’t ask to go to the States, but you can bet your booties that she always has a wish list a mile long for all the cool things that can be bought there! 😀
Haha, I bet she does!
