Both of the two youngest are asleep, and given how seldom that happens in the middle of the afternoon, I figured I’d best churn out a blog post to mark the occasion.

The weather was gorgeous today, sunny and clear-skied, with temperatures as high as 50°F (10°C), but due to one thing and another, I didn’t manage to get out there. Now that evening’s coming on the air has taken a turn for the colder and incoming clouds have made the outdoors look less inviting. Even so, I’m sure Asbjørn wouldn’t complain if I took him out for a turn or two around the block. You know, I think I’ll do that right now, before I have a chance to get distracted by something else. Dinner can be twenty minutes later than planned — no-one’s gonna starve.
