Another beautiful day today, with almost summer-like temperatures and just enough of a breeze to keep us from getting too warm. This afternoon we took advantage of it being the last day of Easter vacation and took the younger kids to the park next-door for a little picnic. It was so nice being out and about that I made an executive decision to go to town and have dinner instead of slaving over a hot stove at home, and we loaded everybody–even the teenager–in the car and made our way first to the supermarket for a little of this and a little of that, then to our favorite burger place. On our way home we stopped for ice cream, and now we’re all stuffed and happy as clams (especially Mama, who’ll be sending three of these mischief-makers off to school tomorrow morning!).
