This year Petra got to have her first kid party for her birthday, and Saturday was the big day. We had had such nice weather all week and I was hoping for more of the same for the festivities, but we woke up to cloudy skies and breezy weather, of course. Our house being a disaster of epic proportions — and I having bought the coolest pink parasol for the occasion — we decided to chance being outside anyway, and it all worked out. A great time was had by all, if I do say so myself.
