Olof’s just finished up his second week back at work after a month’s vacation, and I have to say that it’s been just like starting over again with getting used to him being gone all day. I’m sure one day it will seem like second nature, but we’re not really there yet.

There is one thing that’s much better this time, however, and that’s that my mom is here. She got here the last Friday of Olof’s vacation and will be here until mid-August, so not only do we have her to keep us company while the breadwinner is away, but I also have her help with the kids while everyone is home on summer break. Talk about your win-win.
