So Tage had his ninth birthday over the weekend, and there was celebration aplenty with a fika on Saturday — his actual birthday — then his party with his friends yesterday afternoon. And as usual, where there was celebration there was cake. On Saturday we enjoyed this chocolate/peanut butter beauty that turned out far beyond my wildest aspirations (seriously, I’m still wowed that it turned out both so pretty and so tasty), then for the party I made this Pokéball cake, which wasn’t quite so impressive as the other, but was still well received by the birthday boy.
