Remember that fatty tumor Asbjørn’s side? I noticed a little while ago that it’s grown a fair bit, so I carted him off to the vet again last week. She still says that it’s nothing to worry about, really, but that it’s probably a good idea to remove it, and to do it now while he’s still relatively young and in good shape. She actually said that he looks really good, apart from the lump on his side. No mention at all of his being overweight! Yay!

So yeah, we scheduled surgery for the 21st of this month, and every time I look at him I feel guilty for what I know is coming. It’s supposed to be an uncomplicated operation, so I don’t imagine the recovery will be too rough, but still it probably won’t be much fun for any of us.
