Wednesday

Pity there isn’t a högkostnadskort* for dogs. Asbjørn has a urinary tract infection (how unmanly!) and the course of antibiotics that will send it on its merry way just set me back 315:- (roughly $45 US). It’ll be worth it, though, if it puts an end to his little dribbling problem.

I have nothing else of interest to write about, so I’ll leave you with this series of pictures of Tage hamming it up after his bath this evening. Is there anything nicer than a freshly-bathed baby?

*”high-cost card” — records your out-of-pocket costs for prescription medication. Once you’ve reached 1900:- in a year, you don’t pay anything more for the remainder of the year.

  1. Freshly washed babies are adorable – especially when they’re tearing around the house nekkid! I know my little guy doesn’t want to be called a baby anymore (he’s two) – he’ll yell at you “no baby!” Oh yeah, he’s a big boy now.
Sorry about your doggy’s troubles. I hope it’s not too painful for him. I’m wondering if cranberry juice would have the same anti-UTI effects on dogs as it does in humans…hmmmm.
I feel for you about your hubby being away. My hubby used to work in the US (this was before kids) while I worked full time at home. We saw each other on the weekends (his company picked up the airfare tab – thank goodness!). The separation did not do good things to our marriage. Now there is talk about him travelling more with some new business contracts. I hope and wish that he can convince the client that he can work well from a remote location. I hope you do well and his trip is over before you know it.
