Housekeeping

I’m a few days late, but I just realized that I forgot to post that the new issue of Mosaic Minds came out on Friday. Our theme this time is “Fears and Phobias” and we’ve got lots of great articles, as usual. Be forewarned: There’s a creepy clown header, so avert your eyes from the top of the page if clowns aren’t your cup of tea.

Also, we made a giant leap into the twentieth century (again with the lateness) Saturday afternoon when we finally bought our first scanner. I scanned some of Lydia’s baby pictures and added them to her “Early Years” page, which you can see here. She was, bar none, the most beautiful baby I have ever seen in my life.

Finally, we got Lydia’s school pictures in the mail last Friday, and they turned out very well. I’m always a little apprehensive opening the packet, but so far all my school-picture worries have proved unfounded. Here, again thanks to the scanner, are her annual pictures, from kindergarten to second grade:
