Tuesday

I’ve been away from my online life for only a week and already I’m so far out of the loop that I feel I’ll never get back in. It really would be the considerate thing to do if all of you could put your busy lives on hold until I’m back in the swing of things and can keep up again. Really, that’s not too much to ask, is it?

As for me, nothing much but the “babymoon” going on here. So far Petra is a very easy-going baby, which is nice. She eats well and sleeps well and we’re all settling in with a minimum of fuss. Tage in particular is quite enamored of his little sister — the past couple of days he’s been shaking her hand and saying, “Goddag, Petra … goddag, goddag,”* which is cute as all get-out. Olof has been trying to videotape him doing it, but he won’t cooperate when he sees the camera pointed in his direction. Isn’t that always the way of it?

To make up for the lack of posts (and for the less-than-riveting quality of this one), I’m including some recent pictures of my beautiful brood. Enjoy!

*Good day, Petra … good day, good day.

  1. Congratulations Beverly! You are so blessed. I remember that cozy feeling of having a new baby at home.

My parents are flying to Stockholm today. They are delayed at MSP waiting for their flight to Amsterdam. They will spend two weeks in Stockholm and then will go to Justero (I am not quite sure how to spell it) and spend two weeks at the family cabin there. I so wish I was going with!
