I know I shouldn’t have, but I have poor impulse control and he was just too, too cute. He’s 12½ weeks old, and his name is Ola, in honor of Ola Svensson, who–in a shocking upset–was voted off of Idol 2005 last Friday. Let’s hope our little Ola fares better with the voters here in the Tjerngren home.
“Poor impulse control”. That’s funny. It reminds me of a character from the book Snow Crash by Neil Stephenson. The character, an Inuit named Raven, has “Poor impulse control” tattooed across his forehead. I’m not sure what this has to do with anything.
My cat’s name is Trouble. We had a second cat who was named Radar, but she got killed by a coyote or a fox.
