Yes, that is a lovely picture. How come you brought it out now, almost twelve years later? I wonder which court yard it is. The old guy is Jewish of course, probably the boy is too. But it doesn’t look like the Jewish Quarter.
I was scanning some old pictures and came across this one. I hadn’t seen it for a while, and since it’s a favorite of mine I thought I’d share it. 🙂
I don’t know the name of the courtyard, but my memory is that it was in the Jewish Quarter. There were lots of little Hasidic kids running around and stuff. 🙂
You’re probably right. I don’t really know the Jewish Quarter all that well, though I’ve lived in Jerusalem most of my life. Well, if you’re ever in the neighborhood again, do drop in!
