I feel sufficiently rested now to write a post about our Thanksgiving to-do, which happened on Saturday evening. It was your standard Turkey Day affair, with good food, family, and friends. We had turkey with all the fixings and then some, and pumpkin pies for dessert. The icing on the cake (ha!), was the maple-flavored whipped cream I made to serve with the pies. That was some seriously good stuff — I could almost have eaten it straight from the bowl and forgone the pie altogether, but good manners dictated I limit myself to licking the beaters.

I did have the camera with me, and I did take more pictures than the one I posted of the dishwasher, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for those. I didn’t get too many of people, unfortunately, but I do have some nice shots of the little house.
